happy halloween photo time

Genna and Lara.

Carli-da Kahlo.

Some girls.

And me, as Bjork. It took me two hours to make that wig happen.
All these taken on disposable, just developed.

Whoa. The fastness of time. I’m not sure I had slept. Remember going to this shoot with Evanne and my brother and being a total jittery high-summery screwcase, halfway down. But then this looks so clean. A super-edited presentable me. I have another tattoo now, on that wrist, and I legit miss that bracelet.

Mazzy Star is coming back, but what’s important is how much I love and want to be inside this photo

London v. Paris, September ‘11, on disposable

That was London. This is Paris.

In two minutes at Tate Britain (yes I’m still talking about the one hour I spent in Tate Britain) this became one of my favourite photographs. It makes me think of Lynn Yaeger and ballerinas and Comme des Garcons and oysters all at once. Also, it’s called “The Restless Image.” I mean…

Deborah Turbeville, there should be a German word for how much I love her work. Hadn’t seen this before.
Snatched from NOWNESS.

Shots from Osheaga. Went mostly to see Death From Above (long live DFA). The mosh pit made me feel everything, but then I always love being the teenager I never was.
Tonight my friend was talking about a feeling and I said it’s just a trick of the light

Awesome old peeps in the local park. By this girl I like, Laura-Lynn Petrick.
